Math Rush
A mental maths game played on your TV, with your phone as the controller.
- Solo or up to 8
- Single player and multiplayer
- Plays in the browser
Math Rush is a mental arithmetic race for one to eight players. Sums appear on the big screen and everyone picks the answer on their phone. It is quick, loud and a good warm-up between longer games.
How to play Math Rush
- Each round has six sums: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, with eight seconds for each.
- Work the sum out in your head and tap the right answer out of four.
- Correct answers score, and faster ones score more.
Controls
Four answer buttons on your phone.
Tips
- Check the last digit first. It often rules out two of the four answers.
- Do not guess early: a wrong answer scores nothing for that sum.
Start Math Rush in three steps
- Open play.codewithshamil.com on a TV or laptop and press Host a game.
- Connect each phone to the same WiFi and scan the QR code on the screen.
- The first player picks Math Rush from the menu on their phone.
