Turbo Circuit
A 3D racing game played on your TV, with your phone as the controller.
- Solo or up to 8
- Single player and multiplayer
- Plays in the browser
Turbo Circuit is a 3D circuit racing game you play in the browser. The race runs on your TV or laptop, and every driver steers with a thumb stick on their own phone. Up to eight friends race each other at once. When you play alone, three computer drivers join the grid.
How to play Turbo Circuit
- Every car starts on the grid behind the gantry. When the lights go out, point the stick where you want the car to go.
- Stay on the tarmac. Grass cuts your top speed to less than half.
- Each driver has three boosts. A boost gives a short burst of extra speed.
- The race is four laps. Points are given by finishing position.
Controls
A thumb stick to steer and accelerate, and one Boost button. Turn the phone sideways to hold it like a gamepad.
Tips
- Save a boost for the last straight; most races are decided there.
- Boosting on grass wastes most of the boost. Get back on the track first.
- Cars bump each other, so take the inside line into a corner.
Start Turbo Circuit in three steps
- Open play.codewithshamil.com on a TV or laptop and press Host a game.
- Connect each phone to the same WiFi and scan the QR code on the screen.
- The first player picks Turbo Circuit from the menu on their phone.
